There are several reasons for identifying Joseph Heilbut and Süsche as the parents of Simcha: 1. The burial register mentions the name of the father of Simcha: Yosef. 2. Next to that of Yosef ben Yitschak Heilbut stands the tombstone of his wife. Her father's name is Simcha.
