JOSEPH W. HOFFMAN
A native of Woodbury, died at his home, 5223 Coral street, Pittsburgh, at 9.15 o'clock last night as the result of a heart ailment. He was born on March 6, 1887, a son of Henry B. and May (Wagner) Hoffman. For a number of years Mr. Hoffman taught music in the vicinity of Woodbury and then was employed for thirty years by the Frederick Music company in Altoona and Pittsburgh. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary (Bassler) Hoffman; one son, Joseph W., jr., in the United States navy, and three brothers, Durbin C. and Nason F. Hoffman, both of Altoona, and Earl H. of Woodbury. Mr. Hoffman was a member of the Brethren church in Pittsburgh.

HOFFMAN--Funeral services for Joseph W. Hoffman, who died in Pittsburgh will be held in the Methodist church at Woodbury, Bedford county, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in Dry Hill cemetery, near Woodbury.
