Joseph died 9/5/1789 at Sydney Cove and was buried 10/5/1789
Note: It has been suggested that Joseph JEFFRIES was a "Native American Indian" and that he was used to deliberately infect the Aboriginal population with SmallPox which wiped out an estimated 50% of the native Aboriginal population. The outbreak of SmallPox began in April 1789.
