Joe Bointy Killed At Lawton, Report
A message was received here Wednesday morning stating that Joe Bointy, Kiowa Indian, was killed at Lawton Tuesday night. No further particulars had been learned Wednesday afternoon.

Joe is a son of Jack Bointy. He is 28 years old and married. Besides his wife he is survived by three sisters. Burial will probably take place at Rainy Mountain. Joe lived near Medicine Park.

Indian Killed In Fight at Richard's Spur Tuesday

Joe Bointy, 29 years old, a Kiowa Indian was stabbed to death Tuesday night in a fight with Frank Witt, another Indian, at Richard's Spur 12 miles south of Apache. Witt was arrested Wednesday and admitted his part in the fight. Witnesses said the fight followed an argument over some gasoline at the Francis Witt home and that both men were drinking . Walter Wayespappy, Indian youth who was with Bointy, was held for investigation. Bointy was stabbed in the right breast and died almost instantly.

The deceased is survived by his wife and an infant daughter three brothers and four sisters. Services were held at the Comanche mission near Lawton yesterday and burial was in the mission cemetery.
