Joseph Jordan (ca. 1700-1752) of Pasquotank Co., NC, wed Mary Rix in 1723 in Isle of Wight Co., VA. He was the son of Joseph Jordan, b. 1672, Nansemond Co., VA, and d. 1725, Pasquotank Co., NC, married ca. 1698 FiliaChristy Akehurst in Perquimans Co., NC. He was the father of Mary Jordan (1723-1752) of Perquimans and Pasquotank Counties, NC, married John Henley in 1740.

Joseph Jordan was born in 1700 in Pasquotank, Carolina, son of Joseph and Philocrista Jordan of Pasquotank, Carolina.[1]

In 1723 in Isle of Wight, Virginia Colony, he married Mary Ricks daughter of Abraham and Mary Bolson Ricks (daughter of Edmond Bolson).[2][3] He passed away in 1752 in Pasquotank, North Carolina.[4]
