Joseph Anton Jakob Norbert Kroll

Joseph Kroll was foster father to Agnes Kroll and his wife was wet nurse and foster parent. They received Agnes after her secret birth to Elisa Radziwill and Wilhelm 1 of Prussia. He was given great wealth and patronage by the German royal family and started the Kroll Opera House in Berlin where he housed his own children, and Agnes so that The Kaiser and Wilhelm Radziwill, her maternal uncle could keep an eye on her. She was banished to Australia via London in the turmoil of the 1848 revolutions in a scheme by Queen Victoria and her father and uncles, the Wilhelms.
