Joseph Morris married Hannah Lee Asson 1723-1783. They were married in New Jersey on 21 Aug 1744. At the time of the marriage Joseph was living in Burlington. The couple had 3 known sons, George, Jonathan & Amos.
Little else is know about Joseph.
The Tenmile Country and Its Pioneer Families pg 596 shows that Joseph was buried in the same plot as his wife Hannah and that his stone was illegible in 1935. His death date is shown as occurring before 8 Oct 1788. No birth info is known.
There were many generations of Josephs that descend from this Joseph Morris. To reduce confusion and not have people miss this Joseph, estimates for his birth as 1720 and death date of 1787 were used.
Very worn inscription: In 1935 the stone was not legible
Note: Joseph was buried in the same plot as his wife Hannah
