About Joseph Noyes
He was Town Treasurer in 1739; Selectman 4 years before 1744 and an officiating magistrate many years. He lived at eastern end of Back Cove adjoining Mr. Ilsleys farm. He gave by will to son Josiah the farm at western end of Back Cove the farm which he had bought of Mr. Bracket.
