About Joseph Petrucha
Joseph Petrucha & his wife Caroline came to America with their first two children, Annie and Thomas, on June 3, 1859 and landed at the Port of Galveston, Texas. They lived at Matagorda, Texas for a while, then bought land on the west side of the Colorado River, known as Lawson Land.
The "Petrucha Family Tree, Vol. 1" book on page 22 states that Joseph Patrucha was born on May 19, 1823. The headstone at St. Francis Catholic Church Cemetery in Wadsworth, TX states Joseph Petrucha was born on March 19, 1823 which I would say is riight.
