ACCIDENTALLY SHOT
Mr. Joe Reaves, a young man of Randolph County near Wedowee, was accidentally
shot a few days ago. He and his brother George Reaves had gone out to kill a
hawk, had shot the hawk and were standing talking when the gun accidentally
discharged striking Joe just below the heart. George carried his wounded
brother to Anniston to the Sellers hospital where he died yesterday morning.
The body arrived here yesterday morning enroute to Randolph County. Mr.
Reaves is a cousin of Mr. D. M. Reaves of Heflin.
