Family stories passed down are Mary Frances Lindley was plowing when the plow ricocheted off a large rock causing the plow handle to hit her in the abdomen when she was eight months pregnant. She nor the baby survived this accident. Some two years after her death, William Albert second married on 5/25/1919, Elizabeth Bethena "Bettie" Lipham Reaves, b. 7/31/1888, d. 1/11/1957, Randolph Co., AL. Bettie's first husband died of a gunshot wound on 5/12/1915.
