TRENT, JOSEPH JULIAN, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital.

He was born August 6, 1937, in Irvington, Kentucky. He served in the finance department of the U.S. Army, in Ft. Greely, Alaska, retired after 35 years as the business manager at Bob Montgomery Chevrolet, was a former Beechmont Youth Sports baseball manager and coach, member of Sunset Masonic Lodge, Elder at Iroquois Presbyterian Church and a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Logan and Myrtle Dee Trent; and a brother, Randall Owen Trent.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, three daughters, one son, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two nieces.

The funeral will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the Evergreen Funeral Home, with entombment at Evergreen Mausoleum. There will be a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The family wishes to thank all staff at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital and requests that memorial donations be made to the Pulmonary Rehab at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital.
