Utica Daily Press Wednesday, October 23,1952 Mrs. Mayme J. Carpenter, 74, of 1204 Kemble St. died Oct. 21, 1952, in St. Elizabeth Hospital after a long illness. She was born June 25,1878, in New York City, a daughter of Michael H. and Catherine Reusswig Rohm . As a small girl she came to Utica with her parents. In 1902 she was married to William J. Carpenter, who died in 1940. Mrs Carpenter was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and once was active in affairs of the Daughters of the Nile. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Norbert Falk and Mrs. Howard Sexton, both of Utica; also several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 11 a. m. Thursday from the Ortner Funeral Home, 130 Eagle. Internment will be in the family plot, Forest Hill Cemetery.

Funerals Carpenter --- Mrs. Mayme J. Carpenter. 1204 Kemble St. Thursday from the Ortner Funeral Home, 144 Eagle St. with the Rev. Stanley P. Gasek officiating. Bearers; Norbert Falk, Howard Falk, William Falk and John Falk. Internment the family plot, Forest Hill Cemetery with committal services by Father Gasek.
