Joshua Seaver m Mrs Mary (May) Pepper, widow of Joseph Pepper, dtr of John & Sarah (Brewer) May. He was made Freeman 22Mar1689/90. Joshua Seaver d testate, having written will 16Sep1723. Heirs named in will included wife Mary Seaver, sons Ebenezer, Jonathan, Joshua, & Robert Seaver, dtrs Mary, Sarah, & Jemima Seaver (wife of John Wood). Wife Mary Seaver was named executrix [Suffolk Co,(MA) Probate Records, Vol 28, p 80]. Inventory taken 25Aug1730 by Edward Bridge, John Payson, Samuel Stevens. Inventory totalled 2,590 pounds, 15 shillings, 6 pence. Executrix presented her acct 31Aug1730. Joshua Seaver is buried in Eliot Cem, Roxbury, MA.

Biography

Joshua Seaver married Mrs. Mary (May) Pepper, widow of Joseph Pepper, and daughter of John and Sarah (Brewer) May.
He was made a Freeman on 22 March 1689/90 (NEHGS, Volume 3, page 348, October 1849).
Joshua Seaver died testate, having written a will on 16 September 1723. The heirs named in the will included wife Mary Seaver, sons Ebenezer and Jonathan Seaver, son Joshua Seaver, son Robert Seaver, daughters Mary and Sarah Seaver, daughter Jemima Seaver (wife of John Wood). Wife Mary Seaver was named executrix ([Suffolk County (Massachusetts) Probate Records, Volume 28, page 80).
An inventory was taken on 25 August 1730 by Edward Bridge, John Payson, Samuel Stevens. The inventory totalled 2,590 pounds, 15 shillings, 6 pence. The executrix presented her account an 31 August 1730.
Joshua Seaver is buried in Eliot Cemetery in Roxbury, Massachusetts.
