Compositor of the eighteenth century. He was first engaged in the printing-house of his father, from 1705 to 1720, but carried on an independent establishment from 1736 to 1756, when he became associated with his brother,Yom-Ṭob Lipman. His wife died in Elul, 1760, and he was already advanced in years when he lost his son Moses Löb.
