mov to Dickinson co, 1871; settled in Jefferson twp, elected Probate Judge of Dick co 1888;m1 11 July 1874 to Kate Morley who d Apr 1875;I can't seem to find Kate's grave or find much else about her right now.

m2 26 Oct 1876 in Abilene to Eliza Morley; his wives sisters, being daus of James Morley, a native of Suffolk co, Eng, who settled in Jefferson twp,

Had 10 children of whom Benjamin W. d in infancy as well as Charles W., who died of spiral meningitis; those living are Etta,Jessie, Phoebe, Nellie, Dora, Harrison M. and George R.
