Judith Cady

Judith Knapp was christened on 16 JUL 1629 at Bures St. Mary, Suffolk, England, the daughter of William Knapp and Judith. She married Nicholas Cady about 1646 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, and removed to Groton, MA, about 1668.

No lettered tablets mark the last resting place of Nicholas Cady and his wife Judith; their only monuments were their children, whose successful and honored - careers testified to the wealth of mental endowment inherited from their parents.

Notes

Nicholas Cady of Watertown took the oath of fidelity in 1652. His wife was Judith Knapp, daughter of William. They went to Groton about 1668, and their sons and grandsons removed to Connecticut.
