Death of Julius Betker Julius Betker, 81, died Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Anton Mykowski, 767 East Front St. Mr. Betker suffered a stroke 14 years ago. He was born Nov. 19, 1853 in Poland, and had resided here for 60 years. He is survived by one son, Edward, Winona; four daughters, Mrs. L. J. Vess, Chicago; Sister Marcia, St. Joseph's academy, St. Paul; Mrs. Mykowski, Winona, and Mrs. Peter Hilt, Trempealeau, Wis.; one brother, Joseph, Sturgeon Lake, Minn., and ten grandchildren. He was a member of the Polish National Alliance of Chicago. His wife died in August, 1921. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 9 a.m. at St. Stanislaus church, the Rev. J. F. Cieminski officiating. Preliminary services will be conducted at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mykowski at 8:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
