Jurij Petrushevych

Jurij Petrushevych and his brother Stepan were deported to Kazakhstan along with their mother Ihnatija. His mother and brother perished there. During the repatriation of Poles from the USSR during the summer of 1941, Jurij was successful, primarily due to his position as judge in Vadovytsi, to travel to the West, where he married and had an only daughter Elizabeth.
