Karel "Kallie" Potgieter (1935 - 2013)

Karel (78), who lived alone on Voortrekker road in Ashley, Pinetown, was found gagged, his legs and arms tied with an extension cord and stabbed to death, by his domestic helper, Rose Zindela, at 08h30 on 9th April 2013. Rose arrived at the house and found the driveway gate open and the keys on the floor, and Karel's pick-up truck missing.
