Karen Jean Tanner was born on June 18, 1960 to James Gilbert Tanner I and Beulah Pearl Vaughn Tanner in Dallas, Texas.

She is a writer and researcher on Colonial American history and genealogy.

Her paternal lineage consists of many Colonial American nobles that are direct ancestors to many lineages of Kings and Queens throughout the world.

Her more recent Great Grandfathers of Colonial America are Thomas Jefferson I & II, Captain John Goode I & II of Whitby Plantation, Colonel William Fly, Colonel Bennett Goode whom was married to Martha Jefferson Goode, and John & Isabel Penkeville Goode of Whitby, England through her 3rd Great Grandmother, Frances Knight Baskerville.

This Baskerville lineage descended from Old Withington, Goosetrey, Cheshire, England and is of the Knights of Baskerville of Eardisley Castle whom reigned England for over 400 years. She is of 22 generations of these magnificient Baskervilles.

Further up her genealogical charts, she is also the Great Granddaughter of King Clovis I, King Foulques V, VI, Counts of Anjou, King of Jerusalem, being of 2 Knights Templar noble lineages and 3 Merovingian bloodlines, one of which is extremely rare.

Karen Jean Tanner was born on June 18, 1960 to James Gilbert Tanner I, and Beulah Pearl Vaughn Tanner in Dallas, Texas.

Karen has a Bachelors in Colonial and Medieval History, researching family history and Genealogy; she is a writer, lyricist, poet and researcher.

She held a license in Medical Therapeutics in Texas for 13 years where she practiced her business of therapeutic massage and medical treatments in Texas and Georgia.

Karen is also a certified Reiki Master, education in Reiki levels I-III and Angelic Reiki.
She has over 400 hours in cosmetology, nail technology, hair designs and cosmetics.

In her earlier years she was an entertainer and actress in theatrical entertainment and live stage performances, working on circuits across the USA in major cities such as New Orleans, Dallas, Key Largo and Miami.

She is presently writing her novel, "Holy Veil, Traditions of the Crown". She has written five unpublished books, poems, songs and lyrics. She is a practicing researcher in noble and royal genealogy and history.
