This part of the Biblical-Tree project was started 9/1/2024 and is mostly complete.

An issue that repeatedly comes up on Geni is that the Biblical Tree should NOT even be on the site, because it is mythical (or other reasons). There are MANY mythical trees on Geni**1, but the Curator team makes sure that they remain ISOLATED from the main "World Family Tree". Once a tree is marked as Isolated, people can no longer connect to it. There are NO VALID lines connecting the Biblical Tree to present times. NONE.**2 So there should NOT BE any connections on the tree. These will be cut, and a note made in the relevant profiles. In ALL cases that I have ever seen, the lines are TOO SHORT. Typically by 20-40 generations.

For this reason the Curator Team together with Geni management HAVE tried isolating the Biblical Tree a number of times over the years. There is nothing we'd like more. The Biblical Tree is especially hard to isolate because it is BIG. At least 2500 profiles, over 40+ generations. People keep on adding new copies (about 10 a month), and finding new ways to connect to it. These bad connections are ALL over the tree. This makes isolating it a BIG problem. Several attempt have failed.

This project documents the connections that I have removed.
