About Karla Michele McCauley
"Karla Michele McCauley attended James Street School in Whakatāne, Tauranga Intermediate and Tauranga Girls’ College. A stunning classic redhead with a sunny disposition, Karla readily made friends and was a kind and caring mother to her two children. At the age of 21 she collapsed and was helicoptered to Auckland Hospital while the family rushed there by car. Doctors made the decision to turn off her life support three weeks later following three major surgeries. Karla left behind her three-year-old daughter and 18-month-old son. She was my youngest sister and is still missed and thought of daily by her family."
