A portrait painter and lifelong artist - she lived in Schenectady NY, Reston VA and Montgomery MD and was a graduate of Cleveland School (Institute) of Art, 1921, where she was awarded a one year scholarship for advanced study in Paris and Rome. She painted her last portrait in 1991 when macular degeneration gradually diminished her sight.
