Kathleen Shultz

Mrs. Kathleen (Katy) Shultz, 64, a former resident of 290 N. Detroit St., died at 11:45 p.m. Monday at the Gibson Nursing Home, N. Detroit Street. A Xenia resident since the age of three, she was born in Cincinnati August 13, 1887, the daughter of William and Estella Jones Ball. On May 10, 1910, she was married to Edward W. Shultz who preceded her in death October 29, 1965. She was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Dean (Eleanor) Manor of Xenia; two sons, Edwin of Knollwood and Ralph Shultz of Xenia; three grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The Rev. Charles Ruth will conduct services Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Neeld Funeral Home, 106 W. Market St., where visitation will be Wednesday 3-5, 7-9 p.m. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
