  • In January 1939, Klara Frankenberg, née Bauer, applied for emigration to the United States, where a sister, niece and nephew lived and promised to support her.   • On 9 September 1942, Klara Frankenberg née Bauer was forced to sign a so-called "retirement home purchase contract" for room and board in Theresienstadt. All her remaining assets were transferred to the Reich Association of German Jews, to be further transferred to Reich coffers.
