That this Wikipedia mini - biography is, in fact, referencing Khan Koten / Kotian I rather than his grandson, Khan Koten / Kotian II, is attested by the accurate representation that Khan Koten / Kotian I was the father in law of Kievan Rus' Knyaz Mstislav Mstislavich (1153 - 1258) by virtue of his daughter's marriage to said Knyaz Mstislav............In "WikiTree", Khan Koten / Kotian I is captioned as "Kotak of Polowzes", said to have been born 1160 in "Polowzes, Poland" and to have died in 1240.
