Ann was the only child and sole heir of her mother [the Earl's 2nd wife] Elizabeth Walden, daughter and coheir of Sir Richard Walden, of Erith, Kent.
Peter and Anne (Talbot) Compton were the parents of Henry (2-16-1537 to 11-22-1589) who married Ann Spencer about 1599.
Ann?s second marriage was to William Herbert, 1st Earl of Pembroke.
