Based on this being registered as his name, and following the precendent of his father, I have reinstated "Albertsz" as his second name, with the knowledge that it denotes "son of Albert".
Although baptised in Cape Town, his parents were recorded as living the Drakenstein and Stellenbosch areas not long after this, so it is uncertain where Lambert was born at this point.
According to this date, his mother was 15 at the time and the father 39.
Lambert was 10 years old before the next surviving sibling was born. (There is no evidence of other deceased children in between - which does not mean that there weren't any.)
The Myburgh book gives a birthdate of 1716, but this appears to be incorrect.
It says he was admitted into the Stellenbosch NG Kerk 17 July 1726 (aged approx. 19). No corroborating record appears to be available online at this time (July 2017).
