Held Moulton and Weston from Spalding Priory
These two daughters he married to his two sons by a former marriage--that is:. Amabel, the elder, to his son Lambert, and Alice, the younger, to his son Alan de Multon. Before 10 March 1217/18 Thomas married the mother of these two girls, the widow of their father.
Lambert later took a second wife, IDA, widow of GEOFFREY d’Oyly, daughter of ---. She married thirdly Geoffrey de Millers. But there do not seem to have been any Multon offspring from this marriage.
Lambert de Multon's descendants retained the name Multon. His brother Alan's adopted the name Lucy.
Cawley notes only one son, Thomas Multon de Egremont, who married three times:
Thomas' son Thomas m. Emoine le Boteler and predeceased his father, but left another (!!!) son Thomas (!!!!!). *That* one married Eleanor de Burgh and had three daughters and a son named, thankfully, John.
