b) LAMBERT (-after 938). Liudprand names Lambert as brother of Guido[740]. He succeeded in 931 as LAMBERT Marchese of Tuscany. He was deposed and blinded in 931 by Ugo King of Italy, who installed his brother Boso as Marchese of Tuscany until 936 when he was in turn deposed in favour of King Ugo's illegitimate son.

{[( MedLand simply don't know & don't list sons, it don't write that he had none or that no one survived him, as specified in Guido )]}

Lambert (died after 938) was the second son of Adalbert II of Tuscany and Bertha, daughter of Lothair II of Lotharingia. He succeeded his elder brother, Guy, as count and duke of Lucca and margrave of Tuscany on his death in 928 or 929 without heirs.

In 931, before 17 October, Hugh, King of Italy, disowned and removed Lambert, giving Tuscany and the familial possession of Lucca to his brother Boso.

Lamberto of Tuscany , or Tuscia (ninth century - 938), Count and Duke of Lucca, was Marquis of Tuscany from ' 929 to' 931 .

Biography Lamberto was the second son of Adalbert II and Bertha, daughter of Lothair II ( 863 - 925 ). He succeeded his elder brother Guido, after his death in 928 or 929 without heirs, as the Count and Duke of Lucca and Margrave of Tuscany .

In the year 931 , before October 17, Hugh , King of Italy , removed Lamberto , and bestowed the Tuscany Family Title and possessions of Lucca to his brother, Boso. Hugh was half-brother Guido and Lamberto, because they had the same mother.

When Guido died, Hugh married his widow, Marozia , daughter of a senator and member of a powerful family. Lombard of Tusculum. Were married [1] , in Rome , by Pope John XI , son of Marozia and the late Pope Sergius III .

Notes: In order to celebrate the marriage, Ugo did declare that his two half-brothers Guido (the law of that time did not allow to marry the widow of his brother) and Lambert were not sons of Berta, their common mother.
