It appears that Laura Jane Hawkins Wash and David Wash separated. She is listed in 1900 census in Fannin County with son James Arthur Wash. David Wash was in Nolan Co TX in 1900 with daughter (Sally) May Wash and her husband, John Thomas Wash, Sr., who was also David Wash's nephew due to John's marriage to his first cousin, Sally May. Laura's death is not known, nor is David's. The Laura J. Wash noted with a 2 Feb 1925 had a birth date of 1891, and therefore could not be the same Laura Jane Hawkins Wash in our family born in 1858.
