Steinheim Institute Commentary:

Dating Died, Friday, February 27 , 1609 Zln 2-3a: Isa 1,21. Zl 3b: cf. Isa 22:16. Rhyme up - wa in lines 2-4. Abbreviation no longer recognizable; Sentence separator: shaped

Tombstone Description: Stele with a recessed lettering field, double chamfered frame and arched finish. The writing field is closed with a three-pass, above it a header in smaller letters on the frame, following the course of the curve, in it Zln 2-3. House sign no condition Only two fragments of the upper end and one fragment of the middle writing field have survived from this tombstone, the rest is missing. Some of the inscription had to be added after Ho. The fragments come from Hill A.
