SILVERTON, Lea (Oct 31, 1912 Dec 4, 2008) Lea was born in Estonia, daughter of Alexander and Stella Weiler. After many years of farming with her husband, Walter, in Barons, Alberta, they retired to Victoria, B.C. Lea is now at peace after a 10 year struggle with Alzheimer's. She was predeceased by her husband, her brother and sister-in-law, Rein and Marga Weiler. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mae (Boie) Myhre, Silvia (Malcolm) Marshall, Ernest (Lorene) Silverton, and her sister, Asta Martinson, as well as many nieces and nephews. Lea was blessed to have several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There will be a memorial tea, Monday December 15th at 2.30 pm, at Somerset House, 540 Dallas Road, Victoria, the home of Asta Martinson, Lea's sister.
