Biography

Leighton Wood, II was born on July 4, 1737 in Bristol, Gloucestershire, England. His parents were Leighton Wood, I and Elizabeth Puttermanson.

Leighton married Ann Wood (Blagrove) in 1762 in Virginia. Together they had the following children: Basil Wood; Leighton Wood, Rev, III; Joshua Wood; Catherine Wood.

He died in 1805 in London, England.
