m. Lucretia Ranney int. Jan. 20, 1816 at Ashfield, Mass. She was b. June 17, 1796 at Ashfield, Mass., the dau of Samuel Ranney and Polly (Stewart) Ranney. Lucretia later m. Nehemiah Hathaway 29 May 1820 at Ashfield, Mass. She died 17 May 1879 at Schoolcraft, Kalamazoo, Michigan.
