About Leon Edmond Deblois
I was born in the U.S. but I enlisted in the Canadian Army during WWII. I had to lie about my age to do so. I was able to reach the rank of Lance CPL. When I got out I married Edith Gormley and we had three children, Patricia died an infant, Pauline, and Shirley. After Edith and I divorced I married Odiele (Paradise) Sayers and died from TB a short time later. Pauline was twelve and Shirley 10.
