According to Folly Castle, he and Sarah migrated to Kentucky c. 1810.
According to Beverly Browne Leachman II, Leonard had another sone, Luther Leachman who was b. 15 Jan 1828 and d in Nevada in 1870. He also says:
Leonard II and Arah Sanford Leachman are buried in a private Leachman cemetery on a hilltop now overgrown and inaccessible which is located near Worthville, Kentucky, off the Goose Creek Road to the right shortly after that road leaves U.S. #227 to the North. Leonard and Sarah left Virginia for Kentucky shortly after the Revolution (actually about 1808 or 1809), stopping first in Shelby County. Later they moved into Carroll County which prior to 1838 was a part of Fallatin County.
