About Lettice Katy Bearden
Evidence needed to support as daughter of Minor Winn
Researcher Pamela Mann states that Lettice Caty Winn was the sister of General Richard Winn of Fairfield District, SC. While John Minor Winn & Mary O'Conner appear to be the parents of the Revolutionary General, Richard Winn, I do not see the name of Lettice in the transcribed Will for Minor. As such, I need to find additional evidence to support naming Minor Winn the father of Lettice.

Copied from Asa Bearden family Bible: John Bearden Sr. b.abt1717 Caroline Co.,VA m.Lettice Winn abt1738 Caroline Co.,VA. Ten Children: Lettice Winn b.abt 1739 (m.John Gowan), Edmund b.1740, John,Jr.b3/11/1744, Isaac b.1746, Benjamin b.1748, William b.1750, Thama (or Tharna or possibly even Thomas) b.1752, Richard b.1754, Winn b.?, Mourning b.6/15/1763. John Sr.'s will dtd 1797 Spartanburg, SC. I have most spouse info on John Sr.'s "kids" but some info lost on edge of paper when copied. Last 2 born in NC and some marriages in SC so it looks like the family moved VA-NC-SC and kids went some to KY and GA. Good luck. -Bill
