Prominent Attorney Dead
Major Lewis Henry Boutell, one of the oldest members of the Chicago bar, died in this city early this morning, after a brief illness. There will be brief services at his late residence, 1623 H Street, at 9:30 tomorrow morning, after which the body will be taken to the family home in Evanston, Illinois.
Major Boutell leaves a widow, an unmarried daughter, two sons, Arnold Boutell of Saginaw, Michigan, and Representative Boutell of Chicago, and a sister, Mrs. Charles F. Sampson of Providence, Rhode Island. He was a member of the Chicago Commandery, Military Order of the Loyal Legion.
