In Union Village Washington Co. NY very suddenly on the morning of the 6 of May Ins. Lewis Younglove of the firm Younglove, McNeil & Co. in the 53 rd year of his age one of our oldest and most respected merchants. The death of Mr. Younglove is another striking illustration of the uncertainty of human life and vividly admonishes us of the feeble tenture of human existence. He retired to bed at night apparently in his usual good health having been at his store the previous day. Early on Sat morning his wife being aroused by his death struggles as if in a troubled sleep arouse to obtain a light but by the time she had awakened the family his spirit had winged its flight to a brighter and better world.
