Moses Younglove is the son of John and Martha (Perine) Younglove. He married Hannah Wells 23 February 1809 in Cambridge, Washington Co., New York. They had two children: Ann Elizabeth, and Moses Cowan Younglove.

Hannah is d/o Daniel Wells and Hannah Lothrop, she was 19 years old when she m. Moses (6). She was known for her strength of character, indifference to establish precedent, continuity of thought and a rare knowledge of ancient history. After Moses's death she remained a widow for 5 years and then m. Solomon Cobb. Had nine children. prob rel. to Elijah and Sydney Wells who were execs. of will of John Younglove.
