George David Reichard Sr. married (MRIN:2) Lillie Estella Hall-7, daughter of Lorenzo Hall-611 and Mary Bricker-612 (MRIN:8), on 8 Oct 1908 in , Jay, Indiana [Bk. –K pg.30 License Bk. MA-6 pg. 36]. Lillie was born 11 Feb 1890 in Antioch, Jay, Indiana. She died 16 Aug 1973 in Portland, Jay, Indiana {Social Security #03-12-3158 and was buried 18 Aug 1973 in Salamonia Cemetery, Salamonia, Jay, Indiana.
She married 2nd 11 Oc 1947 Stephen L. Starr b. 9 Jun 1895 died 5 Feb. 1972 near Dunkirk, In.
Her death is found recorded in the Portland Commercial Review dated Thursday 16 Aug. 1973 as follows:
Mrs Lillie Starr, 83 died earl this morning at he home at 814 S. Bridge St. in Portland apparent heart attack.
Mrs Starr was born Feb. 11, 1890 in Pike township, the daughter of Lorenzo and Mary C. (Bricker) Hall. She was married to George D. Reichard, 8 Oct. 1908. Reichard died in 1941. She was then married to Stephen L. Starr on Oct 11, 1947. He died Feb. 3, 1972.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs.Leonard (Chella) Dill, Portland; Mrs. Fracis (Elgie) Brubaker, Munice; Mrs. Hazel Hutson, Portland; and Mrs. Carl (Vivan) Barger, Portland; two sons, Henry Reichard, Portland and Lt. Col. George D. Reichard Lunenburg, Mass; 13grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Daughters of America.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland with Rev. Roger Rankin officiating. Burial be made in the Salamonia Cemetery.
Callers will be received after 1 p.m. of Friday.
