Funeral services for John Frederick Reichard, 11 to be Monday.
John Frederick Reichard, 11 year old son of George D. and Lillie E. (Hal) Reichard who had been ill for the past four years from complications, died Saturday morning at 1:45 o’clock at the family home on South Western Avenue. He had been seriously ill r the past five weeks, his condition becoming critical several weeks ago.
The lad was born March 12, 1928 in Portland where he had always resided. Surviving are the parents and following brothers and sisters: Chella wife of Leonard Drill of south of Portland; Henry, Elgia wife of Frank Brubaker; Hazel wife of Harry Hutson and Vivian, wife of Carl Barger all of Portland, and Virginia and George D. Reichard Jr. at home. The maternal grandparents Lorenzo Hall and Mrs. Mary C. Hall of Portland also survives.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at one o’clock from the home. Rev. H. G. Perry of Salamonia will officiate. Burial will be made in the Salamonia cemetery
The body was taken to the Williamson and Sons Funeral home and returned to the residence Saturday afternoon
