About Linn Banks
A Patriot of the American Revolution for VIRGINIA. DAR Ancestor # A005724
Linn Banks furnished supplies to the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. He served in the French and Indian wars in 1759, and as a sergeant in 1760 under Col. William Byrd. He testified to this in 1780, recorded Amherst Co. O.B. 1773-82 page 397.
Linn Banks was also known as "Sam", which may have been his middle name.
