Lorinda (61), was found in the boot of her vehicle in Sunwich Port at 10.30am on Tuesday 25th February 2014. Police spokesman, Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid, said the woman’s feet and hands were bound and she had an open wound on her neck.
Lorinda was tied up and dumped in the boot of her vehicle by two suspects who proceeded to rob her home.
The suspects then tried to flee with her vehicle but failed, and then killed her in the boot of her car by slitting her throat.
Lt-Col Wiid said Southport police responded to a report of a missing woman. “But before police could reach the house in question, they received a report that a family member had found the woman’s body in the boot of her vehicle some distance from the house.”
