- "Mrs. Louisa Barker Fletcher Dies At Her High Point Home
- "High Point June 4
- "Following a long illness, Mrs. Louisa Barker Fletcher, wife of Rev. J.F. Fletcher, pastor of the Southside Baptist Church, died late yesterday afternoon at her home on Willowbrook street.
- "Mrs. Fletcher was 62 years of age, a woman of splendid Christian character and had a wide circle of friends who will regret to learn of her death.
- "The body was taken this afternoon to Raleigh, where the funeral services will be conducted tomorrow morning.
- "Surviving are five sons, Captain A.L. Fletcher, of Raleigh; A.J. Fletcher, also of Raleigh; J.V. Fletcher, of Laplata, MO; J.V. Fletcher of Louisburg, KS, and Herbert S. Fletcher, of this city. She is also survived by four daughters, Mrs. W.R. Absher of N. Wilkesboro; Mrs. J.M. Daniel Jr. of Lexington; Mrs. J.P. Bingham, of Carthage; and Mrs. Eugene Bean, of this city; and by three brothers, Edward, Monroe and Lloyd Barker, of Ashe county."
