Lovic Pierce Ford (a) was born May 16, 1856 in Upson County, Georgia, son of Richard Asbury Ford and Martha Louise (Graham) Ford.

On June 22, 1879, he married Frances "Fannie" Randall in Paris, Lamar County, Texas. In March 1880, she preceded him in death in Paris, TX. He married Mary Jane Gould. Their 9 children included Johnie Asbury (1882); Della Zona (1884); Arch Pierce (1886); Neva Gussie (1888); Blumer Morgan (1890); Wise Lovic (1894); Fredrick 'Fred' Elmer (1895); Tomie Dewey (1898) and Norma V. (1900) Ford.

On April 10, 1943, Lovic P. Ford, age 86, died in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with burial in Clinton Cemetery, Section 4-L46, Clinton, Custer County, Oklahoma.
