About Lucretia Childers
Thomas Jones, III married Martha Tanner the daughter of Joseph Tanner and Mary [Shippey] [sic: unknown].
Thomas died in 1689, and his will notes his son Thomas Jones, not yet 16, who received the land in Bermuda Hundred called The Granary, cattle, and other items. His wife Martha received her dower of 1/3 of the estate. Their daughter Lucretia received cows and calf at the age of 16.

Lucretia (Jones) Childers was a Virginia colonist. Lucretia Jones was born in 1685 in Henrico County, Virginia, the child of Thomas Jones and Martha Tanner. She died in 1727 in Henrico County, Virginia, at the age of 42.
She married Henry B Childers I on September 15, 1708, in Henrico County, Virginia. They had eight children during their marriage. Henry's will names only four daughters Lucretia, Anne, Martha, and Millicent. (There is no daughter named Mary.)
