THE GROTON AVERY CLAN, Vol. I, by Elroy McKendree Avery and Catherine Hitchcock (Tilden) Avery, Cleveland, 1912. Found in the DAR Library, Washington DC. Page 185. She was alive Feb. 4, 1754, at which time she and her husband deeded certain land which came to them from her father, Joseph Avery, lately deceased. At the time of the final division of Joseph Avery's estate, May 5, 1755, she was not living, as the heirs of the "daughter Lucy deceased, wife of Jonathan Tracy," inherited their mother's portion.
